Description
|
EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE: Provides emergency cash assistance (grant) to families with children when funding is available. Assists with court-ordered evictions, foreclosures, utility cut-offs, water bills and burial assistance (up to $650) and may be used only once in a 12-month period. Also available are funds for those who have experienced an official disaster, hurricane, flood, or fire. Does not provide financial assistance to those who are living in Section 8/public housing. Children 18-21 must be enrolled full-time in school.
