Description
|
EMERGENCY SERVICES: Operates the Allegany County 911, Emergency Operations Centers and special operations teams. Also works with MEMA, FEMA, and numerous local and state agencies before, during, and after emergencies and disasters to provide coordinated and comprehensive protection of lives and property. Educates the public about 911 through in and out of school presentations, offers tours of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to facilitate awareness, and provides pamphlets and other printed material on public safety, 911, and disaster awareness.
