Description
|
ANIMAL SHELTER: Strives to prevent animal cruelty within the county through humane care and rescue of animals, enforcement of state and local laws, animal control, animal adoptions, licenses, education, and public protection. - FOSTER PROGRAM: Provides temporary care (days to months) for animals in need before finding their forever homes.
- HOUNDS AROUND TOWN: Allows individuals to sign a shelter dog out for the day to give them a break from the kennels, provide enrichment, and socialization.
- HONORING OUR HEROES: Unites current and veteran members of the military, law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency services with a companion dog or cat at no cost.
- SENIORS FOR SENIORS: Adoption fees are waived for individuals age 60+ who adopt a shelter animal that is over 5 years old.
