Description
|
Provides assistance to people who have lost their job through no fault of their own. When clients are unemployed, or working less than full-time, and ready, willing, and able to work, they may be eligible to receive unemployment insurance benefits. Weekly benefit amount (WBA) ranges $40-$450.
Note: You must serve a one-week unpaid waiting period on your claim before you are paid UI benefits. The waiting period can only be served if you certify for benefits and meet all eligibility requirements for that week.

Must meet requirements:
-Have earned enough wages during the base period (12-month)
-Be totally or partially unemployed
-Be unemployed through no fault of your own
-Be physically able to work
-Be available for work
-Be ready and willing to accept work immediately
