Description
|
The Ashtabula County Dog Warden is responsible for the collection of stray dogs and, if possible, the return of dogs to their owners. The Dog Warden also interviews dog owners in violation of legal obligations to ensure dogs are kept under control and do not pose any danger to the public. The Dog Warden responds to complaints about dogs or owners violating state laws. The Dog Warden also investigates dog bite cases reported to the authorities, investigates livestock claims, and checks dog licenses.
