VETERAN'S TREATMENT COURT: Provides a court supervised, comprehensive, and voluntary treatment based program for Veterans charged with misdemeanor and concurrent jurisdiction felonies in the District Court who have had prior military service, whether eligible for VA benefits or not. Integrates and incorporates a coordinated treatment response for justice-involved Veterans with substance abuse and/or mental health issues. Connects Veterans to the programs, benefits, and services, which provide both treatment and assistance to live lawfully and independently. The Veteran is also matched with a Veteran mentor who will support the Veteran as they progress. Central Maryland Regional Veterans Treatment Court serves Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Carroll County, Harford County, and Howard County, and occurs the second and fourth Tues and the second and fourth Wed of each month at the Eastside District Courthouse, 1400 East North Avenue, Baltimore MD 21213. The Anne Arundel County Veterans Treatment Court occurs the first Tues and Third Mon of each month at the Glen Burnie District Courthouse, 7500 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
