Additional services provided by American Red Cross. The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. If there is a house fire, or a tornado, hurricane, or natural disaster flood, they can help as well.
Depends on the situation on what they can can not do. They have case workers to take callers information. They are the first emergency response to help get the families through the first 24-48 hour response. It can include a place to stay, food, clothing or medication replacement.
