HOMELESS OUTREACH: Offers assistance to eligible Veterans and their families to meet with someone who will review their situation to try and make direct connections and necessary referrals with the ultimate goal for housing. Eligibility: --Served in the US Armed Forces --VHA health care eligible --Not Dishonorably discharged --HUD 1 or HUD 4 homeless --In Baltimore City, Anne Arundel, Baltimore County, Howard, Carroll, Cecil, Harford and Eastern Shore --Living outside on the streets --In an abandoned house --In a car --In a shelter -- A place not meant for human habitation --Individuals and families
Application Process: --If a caller seems to qualify ask if they would be interested in talking with someone from the VA about their housing situation and being screened for housing programs that serve Veteran's and their families. --If yes, they can call the Community Resource and Referral Center at 410-637-3246. --Individuals can also walk-in to the Homeless Walk-in Clinic if they are homeless or at risk of homelessness and eligible for VA health care and other VA services. Walk-in Clinic hours are 8:30AM to 3PM.

Eligibility
|
Veterans and their families in Baltimore City that are either HUD 1 or 4 homeless. Living outside on the streets, in an abandoned house, in a car, in a shelter or a place not meant for human habitation.

Call to be screened. Individuals can also walk-in to the Homeless Walk-in Clinic if they receive VA Health services.
