MEDICAID SERVICES:
This agency certifies individuals for Medicaid which provides assistance with the cost of medical care for certain individuals and families with low incomes and/or resources. This agency also assists clients with their questions and problems concerning Medicaid. Medicaid patients are eligible for smoking cessation medications if they are a full Medicaid recipient or a pregnant Medicaid client.
MEDICAID NET PROGRAM:
Medicaid's NET program is set up to help pay for rides to and from a doctor's office, clinic or other place for medical care that can be planned ahead of time. This ride can be in a personal car, a car of a friend, neighbor or family member, or on a bus or van. Patients can also get a ride on a city bus or from a group in their town or area.
