Description

RECREATION: Provides over 40 recreation centers, parks, trails, and pools that offer a multitude of programs for children, teens, and adults. Pavilions are available for outdoor gatherings and individuals must obtain a permit in advance. Contact the local center for additional information. Pool visitors must have a civic rec account to use the facility. Swim lessons and CPR training classes are also available. For safety reasons, pool capacity may fluctuate depending on the lifeguard-swimmer ratio. For information about pools visit https://bcrp.baltimorecity.gov/aquatics. Recreation centers may be used as cooling centers when there is a Code Red extreme heat declaration, visit the website or call 311 for more information.
