The mission of the Alabama Department of Veterans Affairs is to promote awareness, assist eligible veterans, their families, and survivors to receive from the U. S. Federal and State Governments any and all benefits to which they may be entitled under existing or future laws to be enacted.
The Department of Veterans Affairs Montgomery VA Regional Benefits Office is encouraging the public to take advantage of all opportunities to speak with a Veterans Benefits Administration counselor in-person or virtually regarding their VA benefits claims. Veterans and their family members can schedule in-person and virtual appointments
Department of Veterans Affairs Montgomery Regional Benefits Office would like to introduce our new appointment tool, VERA (Visitor Engagement Reporting Application). - This tool allows Veterans or their family members to schedule an appointment to meet with one of the Montgomery Regional Benefits Office Public Contact Representatives either virtually or in person.
- VERA can be used to schedule an appointment to speak one-on-one with our representatives in Montgomery.
To schedule a virtual or in-person interview with one of our Public Contact Representatives, go to https://vets.force.com/VAVERA/s/ and select the type of appointment you prefer. - In person interviews are conducted at:
- Montgomery Regional Benefits Office - 345 Perry Hill Road, Montgomery, AL 36109
- Virtual appointments will be conducted by telephone.
Appointments are available to discuss benefits such as compensation for service-connected disabilities, aid and attendance, status of claims, Veteran Readiness and Employment and referrals for other VA services. The Montgomery VA Regional Benefits Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CST. Walk-ins are welcome.
