Alternate Name Relief for Energy Assistance through Community Help
Description

Provides utility bill payment assistance through PG&E. Offers an energy credit up to $300 to low-income families based on past due bills. Customers may only receive payment assistance once in a twelve-month period.

Eligibility Must be a PG&E customer with a residential account who: -must have a shut-off notice or services are already off -has a minimum balance of $100 ($50 if elderly) -has a past due balance -account holder must reside in the home -Income must be less than 200% above the federal poverty guidelines.

Application Process Call for service.
Documents Required -Income verification for the household from all adults. -Current 15 day/48 hour notice.
