Legal and Program Advocates are available to assist survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and elder abuse in obtaining legal restraining orders. Services include advocacy and accompaniment to appointments and court hearings.

Eligibility
|
Services are available to individuals in Kings County experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, or elder abuse. Events must have occurred in Kings County. Domestic violence orders require an intimate relationship by blood, marriage, or partnership. Minors 12 and older can file a restraining order without parent or guardian assistance.
