Description

Weatherization Assistance is available to low income families and individuals throughout Kings County. Various weatherization measures are installed to improve energy efficiency in the home such as aerators, low-flow shower heads, water heater blankets, minor home repairs to broken windows and doors, and heating/cooling repair or replacement when needed.

Eligibility Must be a Kings County resident, meet income guidelines, and be responsible for energy bills and costs.

Documents Required Valid photo ID, Social Security card, income info for all household members (last 30 days), current electric/gas bill (22+ day cycle, all pages), and rental agreement or proof of homeownership (e.g., deed or mortgage statement).
