Provides training and technical assistance to individuals interested in becoming licensed family child care providers and to providers completing the licensing process. Services include assistance with licensing and fingerprinting, training on child development, health and safety, and family child care business practices, and support to improve the child care environment. Licensed providers may participate in training when applicable. Provides technical assistance, retention support, and ongoing support to help increase the supply of family child care homes.
