MEDIATION: Offers mediation services to consumers who have a medical record, medical billing, or medical equipment dispute with their healthcare provider or a coverage dispute with their private HMO or health insurance company. Assists consumers who have been denied enrollment in Qualified Health Plan or private Advanced Premium Tax Credits or Cost Sharing Reductions by Maryland Health Connection. Assists individuals with hospital financial assistance, facility fee and debt collection concerns.
