Description
|
MEDICAL REHABILITATION: Provides medical services for children. Provides in-patient care for children with post-acute chronic medical conditions, such as diabetes, renal disease, lead poisoning, or failure to thrive. Patients receive intensive medical/nursing supervision and multi-disciplinary intervention. Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech services are offered. Provides rehabilitation services for children with chronic respiratory impairment, including premature infants requiring ventilator care. Offers educational services; psychological services; child life services and social work services. Offers pediatric outpatient specialty services.
Also provides in-patient care for premature infants who require 24-hour medical/nursing supervision due to severe birth defects, severe trauma, and other severe neurological injuries.
