Helps families eat well, be active, and stay healthy. Serves pregnant women, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding women for up to 12 months. Serves families with infants and young children up to age 5. Services include:
- Financial assistance to buy healthy foods
- Nutrition and health education
- Support and information about breastfeeding
- Loans breast pump for emergencies on case-by-case basis. Encourages getting a pump from insurance plan.
- Referrals to health care and other community services.
Accepts reports of WIC fraud.
