Provides career training for high school students, and an Automotive Program for adults. High school students must attend one of their partner schools to join ROP. Teaches a variety of skills that prepare students to succeed. Areas of training for high school students include:

  • Computer Networking & Repair
  • Cosmetology
  • Firefighting
  • Public Safety
  • Restaurant Careers.

Program
Eligibility -Open to adults (Auto Program only) and high school students -For the school year in which high school students plan to take an ROP class, must be a high school junior or senior and/or 16 years old by September 30 -Must reside in Shasta or Trinity County
Program Fees -No fee for high school students -Adults pay about $3,000 for the year - check with Redding's Smart Business Resource Center for possible funding
Application Process -High school students may apply via their school's academic advisor -Adults may register in person at the Shasta-Trinity ROP Office (in August)
