Description

Provides a community-based prevention program, Syringe Services Program (SSP). Shasta County’s SSP offers a range of support services, including:

  • 1 for 1 Syringe Exchange (50 max.)

  • Sharps containers

  • Naloxone (Narcan)

  • Fentanyl & Xylazine test strips

  • Overdose response training

  • Referrals to Substance Use Disorder (SUD) counselors

  • Free STI, HIV, and Hep C testing

  • Free condoms & lube

  • Hygiene supplies.
