Humboldt County Department of Mental Health Crisis Services provides emergency psychiatric care to a diverse population. The primary aim is to stabilize acutely suicidal or psychotic persons. Psychiatric medications are provided if indicated. Crisis Services works closely with Sempervirens admissions. Services include: 1. Assessment and referral to mental health services, both within Humboldt County Mental Health and the private sector. 2. Stabilization of acutely psychotic or suicidal persons. 3. Suicide Hotline for Humboldt County.
