• Community Assistance for Redding Electric Service (CARES): Provides emergency assistance for the electric service part of one's bill. Serves REU customers with low income who have experienced a temporary financial hardship. Call Customer Service, or apply online.
• Residential Energy Discount Program: Provides a monthly discount to qualified low-income customers. Call the Housing Division at 530-225-4578 or download the application online.
