Description

Provides financial assistance to eligible families with dependent children. Helps families with children and pregnant individuals to meet their basic needs. Offers time limited cash assistance, childcare and health care coverage. Also offers individuals help with finding a job, paying for education, and additional services to support the family after leaving the program. Program Fees No fee
Application Process Must apply for and receive CalWORKs cash aid. After applying and approved for cash aid, must attend an orientation and meet with an Employment Counselor.
Documents Required If employed, please provide a recent paycheck stub or proof of employment. If attending school, provide school enrollment information.
