The Basics Southwest Alabama program seeks to bolster children's social, emotional, and cognitive development from birth to age three. To do so, The Basics has implemented a five principled plan distilled from Harvard research that, when followed, gives children a sturdy foundation to build upon. The Basics Southwest Alabama also partners with community organizations and early childhood programs to ensure caregivers have the support and knowledge needed to implement The Basics principles.
