Eligibility
|
Standard Option Criteria:
*Active PG&E electric customers only. The vehicle does not need to be registered to the PG&E Account Holder, but it must be registered to the PG&E service address.
*Purchased or leased an eligible Pre-Owned Electric Vehicle: Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) or Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV).
*Vehicle must remain registered to the applicant in California for a minimum of 20 months.
*Successfully submit application within 180 days of the date of EV purchase or lease.
One PG&E EV Rebate program per eligible vehicle, with maximum of three different eligible vehicles.
A household, defined as the same residential service address, may not submit more than three rebate applications for vehicles purchased or leased in a single calendar year.
Rebate Plus Option Criteria:
*Meet the Standard Option Criteria and income guidelines or enrolled in one of the public assistance:
-Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance
-CalFresh/SNAP (food stamps)
-CalWorks (TANF)/Tribal TANF
-Drive Clean in the San Joaquin Replace Program*
-Head Start Income Eligible (tribal only)
-Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
-Medi-Cal (income-qualified Medi-Cal only)
-Medi-Cal for Families (Healthy Families A&B)
-Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
-Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

|

Documents Required
|
PG&E Electric Service Agreement ID (SAID), PG&E Account Number, CA Driver's License, Proof of Vehicle Registration, Purchase or Lease Agreement.
Rebate Plus Program requires additional information such as proof of income or enrolled in a qualified public assistance program.
