OVERVIEW: Provides Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services while educating, reducing risk and protecting our community - EMERGENCY SERVICES: Includes field operations, emergency medical services, ambulance and non-emergency needs, training, safety and special operations offices.
- MOBILE COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE: Works with Health Department and Hospital to provide timely, clinically-appropriate, patient-centered care. Aims to reduce high-utilization of Emergency Medical Services resources, as well as Emergency Department, by providing education, assessments, and access to resources. Provides assessments for medical, health history, and social determinants (food security, housing, transportation, income, and more).
- ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES: Includes finance, logistics, and EMS billing offices. Provides press release, fire records request, and offers fire safety and education.
- FIRE MARSHAL: Conducts inspections of all places of assembly, educational facilities, summer camps, municipal buildings, businesses, state licensed facilities, and other occupancies. Investigates the origin and cause of all fires, explosions, hazardous materials releases, and other hazardous conditions.
- VOLUNTEER SERVICES: Coordinates with 25 independent volunteer Fire, Rescue, and EMS corporations. Coordinates a county-wide volunteer recruitment and retention program.
