CHILD CARE EXPENSE ASSISTANCE: Provides financial assistance with child care costs to eligible working families. Families must meet income guidelines below. Also assists families with locating a licensed child care provider.

Eligibility
|
Families with children, age birth - 13 without disabilities and ages birth - 19 with disabilities. Head of household must be working/employed, in an approved training program or attending school; Receiving Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI); or within CCS income guidelines. Families must be willing to have their child immunized or provide documentation of Exemption from Immunization. Head of Household be pursuing child support, if both parents do not live within the same household. Must provide proof that child needing care is a US citizen or a qualified alien. Parents do not need to be US citizens.

Individuals can call and request an application or visit the website. There is no physical location.

Documents Required
|
Applicants must provide proof of identity for all household members within the household via birth certificates for children and government issued identification. Head of Households must provide a Photo ID, last four weeks of consecutive pay stubs or proof of enrollment in school or job training, proof of any other household income, proof of child support status, and proof of address.
