Description EARLY INTERVENTION FOR CHILDREN: Offers early intervention services for infants and toddlers with suspected developmental delays or disabilities and their families. Provides assessment, case management, audiology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, counseling, home visits, psychology, social work and support groups.

A family support network is also available for any parent whose child in part of the program. It is comprised of families throughout the state who give information, training and support. Also notifies parents of conferences and workshops.

Eligibility Children ages birth to age 34 1/2 months experiencing delays of at least 25% below their chronological age in any one or more area(s) of development Children diagnosed with certain medical conditions or developmental disabilities may qualify automatically.
