Description
|
FOSTER CARE: Places children in out of home placement when it is clearly determined that the children can no longer remain in their own homes due to abuse, neglect, abandonment or at imminent risk of serious harm. Placements are court-ordered or through voluntary parent agreement depending on the nature of the case. The main focus is that the children will eventually return to their homes.
-Resource Home Licensing: Provides licenses to families that 24-hour care for non-related children. Once approved, resource parents receive board payments, a medical assistance cared and a clothing allowance for the support of the foster child.
