Description
|
RESPITE CARE: Provides respite care to children, training for caregivers, and assistance to publicize the availability of respite care to families in crisis. Children receive up to 72-hour care in licensed respite homes. Targeted population of eligible children includes those who are involved in multi-generational cycles of abuse, are overwhelmed by day to day life, have multi-agency involvement in their lives; have limited or nonexistent support systems, have a history of being removed from the home and have dysfunctional means of coping.
