|
SENIOR COMMUNITY SERVICE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM (SCSEP): Provides training and employment assistance to eligible workers 55 years and older through participating non-profit or government agencies known as host agencies. The program enables qualified older workers to update and enhance their skills through training provided by the host agencies. Participants receive a stipend of $10.10/hr. for 20 hours of training per week. Ultimately, participants are placed in permanent employment at the prevailing wage either with their host agency or with a non-profit, government or private sector employer.

Eligibility
|
Individuals 55 and older with income up to 125% below poverty level and two or more employment barriers.
