$tand By Me® is expanding its portfolio of offerings to include free SECURE online tax preparation by participating in the MyFree Taxes national campaign.
$tand By Me® will partner with United Way of Delaware and Goodwill of Delaware to form the Delaware Coalition in order to make free SECURE web-based tax-preparation software available to low and moderate income taxpayers in Delaware who wish to prepare their own returns at MyFreeTaxesDE.com.
Taxpayers with a household income at $66,000 or less have access to free SECURE tax services online and can e-file their federal and state taxes online.
The Delaware Coalition will offer a web link at MyFreeTaxesDE.com to free SECURE do-it-yourself fill-in-the-blanks questionnaire driven software, designed by H&R Block. No tax knowledge needed. Tax software is available in Spanish and English. All tax forms are available, the only exclusion is Form 1040NR for foreign income.
Tax filers will also have access to technical support via national phone hotline, email and online chat. - Call MyFreeTaxes national hotline at 1-855-MY-TX-HELP (1-855-698 9435) for help.
